It’s log out time for TDP!
Would it have been the 90s or 80 elections, you can easily cheat the rural population
by throwing fake promises or by paying little money to the voters. It won’t workout anymore in the world’s largest democratic. The recent assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh is just an example of the how much the poor farmers suffered because of drought. There were times when the poor farmers went on to sell their kidneys to pay off debts.
The landslide victory for Congress party means not only the end of TDP, it also puts up more pressure on the center in forming a coalition government. There is more bad news waiting for the NDP alliance with the exit poles in Tamil Nadu showing good signs for DMK and it’s allies, which is not good for the NDP.
